complementary infinitives fill out  "incomplete verbs" like properare, dubitare, studere, posse

 

relative clause-starts with a relative pronoun (qu-word) and ends with the first verb.  Remember to mark-up the relative clause.

 

*Ablative absolutes have two elements, a noun in the ablative and a participle in the ablative. If the participle is  a present particple, the A.A. is translated With the ______ ______ing
